The objective of the Migrant Rights and Decent Work (MIRIDEW) project is to strengthen support systems of the Government of Nepal to better protect the rights of Nepali migrant workers along with increased benefits from labour migration. To achieve this, the project aims at achieving four outcomes: • Outcome 1: Labour migration policies strengthened and implemented at federal and state levels. • Outcome 2: Bilateral and regional mechanisms strengthened to improve Nepali migrant workers’ access to better jobs. • Outcome 3: Nepali consular and diplomatic missions in country of destinations provide effective support services to Nepali migrant workers. • Outcome 4: The GoN has effectively engaged with regional and global policy dialogues on labour migration and has implemented relevant policy outcomes.
