This is the 1st in our Weekly COVID-19 Webinar Series, designed to bring together speakers to address the issues surrounding the Irish and Global Health response to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

Prof Ruairi Brugha, MB, BCh, BAO, MD, FFPHMI, MSc, DCH, Dip Obs, Dip Humanities is a medical doctor, public health specialist and Professor and Head of the Department of Public Health and Epidemiology at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland since 2005  
Niall Roche, WASH/Env. Health Consultant and Lecturer. Over 30 years experience in the field of public health/environmental health with 28 of those years focused on low and middle income countries
Diarmuid McClean, Deputy Head of Mission in Embassy of Ireland in Malawi, who gave us a glimpse of the current situation in Malawi, the country preparedness, the challenges and what can be learnt from the Irish experience with COVID-19 so far.
